Cotton yarns are square-braided into a coil of square cross section, treated with grease. Particularly good for brass-made shaft sleeve.

VALQUA NO. 132 {Asbestos coil packing}

Good quality asbestos yarns are mole-braided into a coil of square cross section, impregnated with a small quantity of lubricant and treated with graphite. Mechanical strength has been increased by its braiding method, and used not only for rotary pump but also for reciprocating pump and large sized rotating machinery. Also suitable for valve stem due to its small content of lubricant.

VALQUA NO. 133 {Asbestos coil packing}

Good quality asbestos yarns are braid-over-braided into a coil of square cross section (rounded upon request), lubricated and graphite. Soft and dense because of individual jacket-over-jacket structure. Good for valve and rotary pump. For high speed service, employ V/No. 132 or 134.

VALQUA NO.135 {Asbestos coil packing}

Highest quality asbestos yarns are mole-braided into a coil of square cross section, graphite. Does not contain lubricant. Mostly used for valve stem handling high temperature steam. Since it does not contain lubricant, it will maintain stability of stem torque for a longer period of time. Mica treatment is also available instead of graphite.

VALQUA NO.1110 {Aluminium foil spiral packing}

Treated with lubricant. It releases heat and mechanically strong, being suitable for high temperature, high pressure and high speed services. Generally used as a support ring in combination with soft plastic packing such as V/No. 1240, 2140, etc.

VALQUA NO.1120 {Asbestos-cored aluminium foil spiral packing}

Treated with lubricant. It has well lubricated asbestos yarns as a core material and provides better elasticity and sealability in comparison with V/No. 1110. Generally used with V/No. 1240 or 2140.

VALQUA NO. 1273 {Inconel with inserted asbestos coil packing}

Inconel wire inserted asbestos yarns are braid-over-braided into a coil of square cross section, having a plastic core material of asbestos fibers, graphite and heatproof binder. Finally treated with a special lubricant and graphite. Designed for the same application as V/No. 1271 and 1272, but for higher temperature service where they cannot stand.

VALQUA NO.7132 {CHEMISEAL-P}

Asbestos yarns are braid-over-braided into a coil of square cross section, impregnated with PTFE dispersion and lubricant. Pliable and most popular packing material for pumps handling chemicals. Silicone oil or fluorine-contained oil can also be lubricated to improve its heat-resisting and chemical-resisting properties. Use V/No. 7137 for large diameter shaft.

VALQUA NO 7133 {PTFE impregnated asbestos packing}

Asbestos yarns are braid-over-braided into a coil of square cross section, impregnated with PTFE dispersion. Pliable and suitable for valve handling chemicals. Employ silicone oil or fluorine-contained oil lubricated version for use on rotary pump or control valve where lower friction is required.

VALQUA NO. 7137 {PTFE impregnated asbestos packing}

Asbestos yarns are mole-braided into a coil of square cross section, impregnated with PTFE dispersion. Mechanically tough due to the nature of its plaiting method. It displays a superior performance on large diameter rotating shaft and large sized plunger pump. Pay careful attention to running-in when used on centrifugal pump. It can be treated with silicone oil or fluorine-contained oil to improve characteristic of lubrication, chemical resistance and to avoid hardening.

VALQUA NO. 7262 {PTFE packing}

Pure PTFE fiber yarns are mole-braided into a coil of square cross section, impregnated with PTFE dispersion and a special heat-resisting lubricant . A special care has been paid to the impregnation of lubricant so as not to cause excessive flux of packing lubricant. Particularly good for services at high velocity due to its pliability and lubricity. Has a superior wear-resisting property in gases and low viscosity liquids, and most recommendable for caustic soda that has much salt slurry. When used for valve, agitator and large sized rotating machinery, employ V/No. 7232 as end ring so that more stable performance may be assured for a long time.

VALQUA NO.1345 {Monel wire reinforced asbestos coil packing}

This packing, newly developed and put on the market, is designed to provide best characteristics for ultra high pressure and temperature (upto 650 C) valves in thermal power plants, and petroleum, petrochemical and chemical industries. This packing has one or two jackets of best quality asbestos yarns (min. asbestos contents 99%) inserted with monel wire to wrap around a core of long fiber white asbestos and graphite mixture finished with special lubricant and corrosion inhibitor. Because of its high density of extruded core and double jacketed construction, this packing is quite tough and response easily to gland takeoff.
